35L6G tube: datasheets and technical data
Explore available pinout, electrical data and related types for the 35L6G vacuum tube.
The 35L6G is a beam audio output tube designed for the output stage of DC and universal AC/DC receivers. Sylvania’s manual describes it as similar in purpose and principle to 25L6G and refers to that type’s application notes. Its own sheet nevertheless gives specific values: the relationship explains circuit context without implying identical characteristics. The electron beam is this family’s approach to a receiver power tube.
Heating is indirect, 35 V and 150 mA AC or DC; our sources specify series-string service. Sylvania’s glass envelope is ST-12 and the base octal, 7AC. The drawing assigns heater pins 2 and 7, anode 3, screen 4, control grid 5 and cathode 8. Any mounting position is allowed. The heater difference from the 25L6G’s 25 V and 300 mA is real and prevents treating the two designations as equivalent in heater supplies.
For class A amplification Sylvania gives 110 V anode, 110 V screen and −7.5 V control grid. Anode current is 40 mA and screen current 3 mA; internal resistance is 13800 Ω and transconductance 5800 µmho, or 5.8 mA/V. A 2500 Ω anode load yields stated audio output 1.5 W at 10% total harmonic distortion. The 2500 Ω describes the load seen by the anode, not directly the loudspeaker. The 1.5 W is output under these conditions, not anode dissipation or a figure for every possible circuit.

How to use the Valve Archive
EnryLab Valve Archive allows you to search for PDF datasheets and technical documentation by entering the exact code of a vacuum tube. Enter codes such as EL84, ECC83, 12AX7, 6L6GC, or 300B to view variants, manufacturers, and documents available in the technical archive. The search uses exact matches, thus avoiding partial or irrelevant results and making it easier to find the correct datasheet.
Datasheet PDF and frequent searches
The most searched acronyms have dedicated and indexable pages, with clean URLs and linked documentation. You can start with frequent searches to quickly consult the most used valves in the audio, radio, and technical restoration fields.
