Mechanical dimensions

All linear dimensions are in millimetres and describe the valve base and its pins. They are not socket-hole diameters.

The pin circle passes through the pin centres. Pin spacing is the straight-line distance between adjacent centres. ≈ denotes a value calculated from nominal geometry; ± denotes a tolerance, parentheses show limits and ≤ denotes a maximum.

In depth

Post N34007 has nine contacts with 2.5 mm male pins, a lower deviation of 0.05 mm, and a vertical distance of 24 ±0.15 mm between the upper pin and lower pair. Base, spring socket and inspection tools have separate dimensions.

C3e, C3f, E2e and Z2e are examples. This list does not define a rule for every Siemens nine-pin construction: other types require matching dimensions and geometry.

Siemens F2a has 2.5 mm pins and must not be described as a 2 mm version. Families and revisions require comparison of actual geometry, keeping valve dimensions separate from receiver tolerances.

Base-body diameter is 36.4 ±0.3 mm and height 14 ±0.2 mm. Pins are 12.5–12.8 mm long with 4 ±0.1 mm collars. The tapered tip reaches 1.6 mm; this does not replace the ordinary pin diameter.

The central guide is 10.6–10.76 mm in diameter and projects 16 mm. Illustrated overall height is 27.3 mm, with limits of 27 and 27.9 mm. Unilateral tolerances are preserved as ranges rather than converted into symmetrical tolerances.

The layout is not an enlarged Noval: angular intervals differ and include 30- and 40-degree sectors. Inspection tools use their own diameters to check base and socket; their hole and peg dimensions are not assigned to the valve contacts.
