Mechanical dimensions
All linear dimensions are in millimetres and describe the valve base and its pins. They are not socket-hole diameters.
The pin circle passes through the pin centres. Pin spacing is the straight-line distance between adjacent centres. ≈ denotes a value calculated from nominal geometry; ± denotes a tolerance, parentheses show limits and ≤ denotes a maximum.

In depth
Telefunken LB2 uses receiver 1771, a polarised ten-contact construction with an aluminium shielding enclosure.
In 1944, the LB2 receiver was designated Patronenfassung T1771 mit Antrieb, distinct from T1757 and T1773 for LB1/LB8. Actuation and shielding belong to the receiver without adding electrode contacts.
Valve diameter and complete assembly dimensions are not female-contact tolerances. This family remains separate from other ten-connection CRT bases and Decal B10B unless a specific match is established.
LB2 male pins are 1.4 mm in diameter with a lower deviation of −0.1 mm. The base is a pressed-glass foot with ten terminals. Some positions are marked free in the pinout, which does not eliminate their mechanical socket positions.
Receiver 1771 uses an aluminium enclosure to shield the tube from electrostatic fields. The CRT screen is paired with replaceable safety glass; a graduated disc may be fitted between them for the application. These are supporting and viewing-assembly details, not the contact assembly.
LB2 screen, neck and overall-length dimensions are not catalogued as diameters or depths of the 1771 contact openings. Compatibility with other ten-contact receivers also requires matching orientation and base shape.
