6D2 tube: datasheets and technical data
Explore available pinout, electrical data and related types for the 6D2 vacuum tube.
The Mazda 6D2, written 6.D.2 on the May 1948 sheet, is an indirectly heated double diode with separate cathodes. This separation distinguishes the two sections, which share the heater but each have their own anode and cathode connection. The manufacturer describes it as suitable for parallel operation. The heater requires 6.3 V and 0.3 A; the base is a seven-pin B7G, and one contact connects to the internal shield. Mounting position is unrestricted.
The sheet states limits for each anode: 9 mA maximum mean anode current, 50 mA maximum peak current and 500 V maximum peak inverse voltage. The DC potential difference between heater and cathode must not exceed 250 V. The document also gives inter-electrode capacitances and specifies the measurement conditions: one column excludes holder capacitance by balancing it out, while the other includes a ceramic B7G holder. The values in the two columns should therefore not be compared as though measured with the same mounting arrangement. Capacitance between the two cathodes, for example, is listed as 0.009 and 0.011 pF under the respective conditions.

How to use the Valve Archive
EnryLab Valve Archive allows you to search for PDF datasheets and technical documentation by entering the exact code of a vacuum tube. Enter codes such as EL84, ECC83, 12AX7, 6L6GC, or 300B to view variants, manufacturers, and documents available in the technical archive. The search uses exact matches, thus avoiding partial or irrelevant results and making it easier to find the correct datasheet.
Datasheet PDF and frequent searches
The most searched acronyms have dedicated and indexable pages, with clean URLs and linked documentation. You can start with frequent searches to quickly consult the most used valves in the audio, radio, and technical restoration fields.
